Prunus Meiping in Kangxi Revival “Cracked Ice” style, circa 1880-1900. Excellent condition, no cracks or repairs.

The original Kangxi period version of this had a more detailed Cracked Ice pattern. The darker outlines were first made with the tip of the brush, then the lighter washes were filled in with the side:

The best examples mimic the feel of nature as well as traditional landscape paintings by using the same brush techniques on porcelain.
